Our Bake House Shop in Clitheroe is open:
- Tuesday: 10am to 2pm
- Wednesday to Friday: 8am to 4:15pm
Our production team starts bright and early, with our bakery working behind the scenes from 6am to 3pm to prepare and pack your bakes with love.
We do not have any ingredients on site that contain nuts or peanuts.
We do however have some ingredients that have a may contain nuts or peanuts.
For example, some of the sweets we use like Twix have a may contain nuts and we pass that on to the products with Twix in.
Our Chocolate Matilda has no may contain nuts or peanuts.
Yes! We’ve got free on-site parking available right outside The Bake House Shop, so you can pop in for a treat without the parking faff.
Yes! We deliver our bakes nationwide, straight from our Lancashire bakery to your doorstep. Whether you're ordering a Matilda Cake for a birthday bash or just need a nostalgic pick-me-up (hello, School Cake Tub), we’ll get it to you, beautifully boxed and ready to wow.
Absolutely – in fact, it's one of our most popular options. You can add a gift note at checkout and we’ll handwrite it for that extra personal touch. Whether it’s a birthday, a thank-you, or just a “thinking of you”, we’ve got your gifting moments covered.
Yes – it’s something we really care about. We use recyclable and biodegradable materials wherever possible, and our cakes even support rewilding efforts like orchard planting in the Ribble Valley. Sweet for you, sweet for nature.
